‘BAANADI’ 1 LAKH PRIZE 9 CONSOLATION

Here is a terrific thought for the first time in the history of Kannada cinema. That too for a children cinema ‘Baanadi’! The first prize for best article is Rs.1 lakh and nine others would get consolation prizes.

Debutant director popular comedian and theatre actor Nagaraj Kote has arrived at this new thought and that is supported by Nagaraj of Druthi Cinemas in his first venture.

To cultivate the Kannada writing among children of 7 to 14 years a competition of best reviewing of the film ‘Baanadi’ and children taking inspiration from the film write a four pages Kannada article on children role in state and national development = how and why should be dealt in it. According to Nagaraj Kote the elders support sought by the children will be finally by a panel consisting of literary persons.

 
In the presence of senior actor Dattanna, Abhinaya, Jayasri Raj, Nallur Prasad former KSP President, art director Subash Kadkol, music director Karthik Sharma, Venkatachalaiah, Baby Druthi, producer Nagaraj and director Nagaraj announced the new scheme from ‘Baanadi’ Kannada cinema.
